Freemasonry and Charity.

“Charity and benevolence are a universal characteristic of a Freemasons heart”.

Apart from caring for Freemasons, their wives, widows and children, external charities and good causes benefit greatly from donations from Freemasons around the country.

It is a little known fact that Freemasons are the largest organization to give to charities behind the UK National Lottery!

Masonic actions speak louder than words!

What we do.

Purley Freemasons Lodge is actively involved in supporting local good causes. Each Lodge member donates within his means at each meeting.

Whatever is raised is distributed either directly or via The Provincial Grand Lodge of Surrey.

We actively support Trinity Hospice in Clapham, Teddies for Loving Care, The Royal Marsden Hospital Cancer Research Unit and other local smaller charities and those in need.

Masonic Charities.

There are number of Masonic charities supported by Freemasons in the UK.
