Charity is at the heart of
Freemasonry and is based on three principals - Brotherly Love -
Relief and Truth. Charitable donations are made at all levels,
from individual Lodges, Provinces and Grand Lodge itself through
the Grand Charity.
From it's earliest days Freemasonry
has been involved with Charities helping the sick and dying and
orphaned children. It is divided into two main categories.
Masonic Charity - To provide assistance to Brethren in time of
need and Non Masonic charity - To provide aid to society in
general.
